Bentley appears to have it all. He’s rich, good looking, and he can get any woman to fall at his feet. What everyone doesn’t know is that he’s battling his inner demons while pretending that he’s happy with his life. Everyday is a struggle for him, because he’s living a lie. After the auction, he has to face the one person he’s always loved from afar, but has never been able to face after an accident happened.

At first I didn’t really understand Bentley. I felt like he was just making excuses. He’s spoiled, so he just buckles under pressure, but then I remembered that I didn’t have anxiety, so I couldn’t really judge someone who does. I just felt protective of Margot. She’s been through a lot, and Bentley just seemed hell bent on destroying his life.

I wish I could’ve read more about Brock and Jane in this book. They were barely there, and I just wanted to read more about them.

This story was full of laughs, drama (the good kind), and anticipation. I wish Margot and Bentley were given a chance to be together right from the start, but I’m glad they still found a way to be together in the end and save each other.
