Annalia (Lia) has known Cole and Preston since she was a child. She loved them both, but in different ways. They’ve always been close, but Lia has always set these boundaries that she thought was appropriate for someone like her. She’s always been in love with Preston, but she never thought he felt the same way.

Preston has been in love with Lia for a long time. A problem occurs when his brother Cole also declares his feelings for Lia. They compete for Lia, and Preston ends up losing.

Lia and Preston could have been together right from the start, but they were just too young and naive to understand each other’s feelings. It was so incredibly agonizing to read about how in love they were with each other, while also thinking that the other person did not feel the same. I wanted to pull my hair out.

Mistakes and a lot of miscommunication really made Lia and Preston’s life harder, but through it all, they loved each other hard. Preston really captured my heart, and he proved that he deserved Lia. He fought for her and their love. Thank you for another book that will stay with me forever, Mia Sheridan!
