There was a time when Jake Becker had it all together. He was controlled, driven, ruthless—in and out of the courtroom.

Then, six irresistible orphans and their heartbreakingly beautiful aunt crashed into his perfectly ordered life. They changed everything. They changed him. Now he’s a husband, an upstanding member of society, a father figure—a family man. And he’s pretty damn good at it.

Sure, he has to referee sibling smackdowns, re-learn algebra, ensure his clients stay of jail, and keep his wife happy—but it finally feels like he’s got it together again….

So, of course something has to screw it all up. It’s huge. Life-changing. Kind of terrifying.

And it will be the most amazing, perfect thing he’ll ever do.

Jake and Chelsea are my favorite couple in The Legal Briefs Series! After reading this book, they continue to be my favorite.

Jake and Chelsea are living in bliss. Taking care of six kids may be chaotic, and sometimes there are disagreements, but they really wouldn’t have it any other way. They’re very content with their lives, but they’re finally ready for more. More what you ask, why more kids of course! They’re insane.

This book was everything I could ever want in a novella. It was funny, sweet, and full of happiness! That epilogue was a really nice addition, because I always want a glimpse of my favorite couples’ lives many years after. It just makes me feel happy and content.

If you loved Jake and Chelsea in Sustained, you’ll love them even more in this book!
